The Titán 170 delivers a deep, velvety sound with a full-bodied tone, thanks to its large bell and direct-airflow valve section. This design enhances responsiveness and ease of play, making it ideal for soloists and section players seeking warmth and presence.
With its smooth feel and rich tonal palette, the Titán 170 invites expressive phrasing and dynamic control. It’s a refined choice for players who appreciate depth and colour in their sound, whether performing in jazz ensembles or orchestras.
* The Amado water key was patented in the US by its inventor Raymond Amado at the beginning of the 1970s. A small transverse-mounted cylinder encloses a spring-loaded push-button piston which when depressed lets moisture drain from the instrument. Its design causes less distortion to the air column than the drain port of a traditional water key.
