Description
Stomvi have developed a range of bottom caps to modify and enhance the sound of their treble brass instruments:
- The Clapper and
MaxiClapper incorporate a cone-shaped bell inside the cap which reinforces the natural harmonics of the instrument and smooths transitions between notes. - The Harmonic and Harmonic Light caps have a built-in soundbox or hollow void which functions as a resonance chamber, modifying the response of the instrument.
- The Dynamic caps have increased mass to improve stability and release the upper register.
