|Making A Purchase |
We hope you will find using our online store easy and convenient. Browse the catalogue and add any items you would like to buy by clicking the 'add to basket' button. Then either 'confirm' the item and automatically return to the catalogue, or complete your purchase by clicking 'checkout now'. You can edit your shopping basket (to remove or change the quantity of items) at any time by clicking 'view basket'. You may also 'save' the contents of your shopping basket and 'retrieve' them later. When you have finished shopping, click 'checkout' to begin placing your order. You will then be taken through a number of screens which request the details we need to process your order. Please make sure you enter details accurately, and provide us with your full postal address, a fixed line telephone contact number and a valid email address.
Finally you will be asked for payment details. You may pay for your order using any major credit or debit card via our Global Payments facility. We are also happy to accept payments through PayPal (you need to be a registered PayPal account holder to use this method of payment). If you experience problems with an online card authorisation, please call us immediately. Please note that in order to prevent the fraudulent use of your credit/debit card or PayPal account, we will only dispatch goods to your registered card/account address.
Once you have placed your order and paid using one of the above methods, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This will include an order number which we would ask you to quote in any communications with us.
|Shipping And Handling |
All deliveries to UK customers are sent either by post (smaller items) or by our next-day carrier service (larger items). Orders for goods totalling £50.00 or more are shipped free-of-charge. Otherwise a standard delivery charge of £2.50 will be applied to orders of total value £24.99 or less, and £3.50 for orders of £25.00 to £49.99. Please note we do NOT currently send orders received via our online shop to addresses outside the UK. If you are an overseas customer please contact us directly either by email or telephone.
|Delivery Schedule |
We aim to process your order during the first business day after you place it, so your purchases should be with you within 2-3 business days. If you do not receive your order within an acceptable period, please contact us so we can investigate the delay.
|Back Orders |
Most items in our catalogue are available from stock. In the event that we need to order from one of our suppliers, we will inform you of the likely delivery time. Please allow up to 30 days for delivery of non-stock items. If you have not received your goods within that period and wish us to cancel the order, we will do so and offer you a full refund. Similarly, if the goods you order are no longer available from their supplier, we will contact you and offer you the choice of either an alternative product or a full refund.
|Tax Charges |
All product listings on this website display prices in UK sterling with VAT (Value Added Tax) at 20% included. On the checkout pages the prices are given minus VAT, with the total tax for the transaction shown separately.
|Credit Card Security |
All credit card transactions for purchases made from this website are carried out through reputable payment service providers (Global Iris and PayPal), each offering the highest level of online security. Rosehill Instruments does not have access to your credit card details. Please note that in order to prevent the fraudulent use of your credit/debit card or PayPal account, we will only dispatch goods to your registered invoice address i.e. the address to which your card/account is registered. If you need goods to be sent elsewhere, please contact us before you make a purchase to discuss alternative arrangements.
We want you to be delighted with your purchase. All new musical instruments are offered with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty (except for Yamaha whose warranty period is 24 months). If an instrument develops a warranty fault during that period, please contact us immediately to arrange for its return and we will ensure that the instrument is either made good or replaced.

As part of the ordering process we are obliged to collect a certain amount of personal information. However Rosehill Instruments will not disclose any of that information to third parties for any purpose other than those necessary for delivering your goods.
Cookies are used on this site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, and to store your details if you select the 'remember me' option. In each case the cookies are stored on your own computer, not on our server. You can turn off cookies from within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. However, if you do so, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from other features that use them.
|Returns Policy |
We aim to ensure that goods are sent to you in perfect condition, and all musical instruments sold by us are subject to an inspection before we dispatch them. However, if you received goods which are either faulty or not those you ordered, or the goods are damaged in transit, please inform us immediately and we will either make an exchange or offer a full refund. We will also reimburse you for the expense of returning the incorrect or faulty goods.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you also have an unconditional right to cancel an order you place with us for a period of seven days counting from the day after the goods are delivered to you. If you decide to return an item during this cooling-off period, you must inform us of your intention to do so either by telephone, email, fax or letter. We will then arrange an immediate refund. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are returned as soon as possible, unused and in their original packaging. You must also cover the expense of returning them to us.

All orders must be paid for before prior to dispatch. Payment is taken during the checkout stage via an online payment service provider, either HSBC Secure ePayments (debit/credit cards) or PayPal. If you experience problems with an online card authorisation, please call us immediately. To pay using PayPal you must be a registered PayPal account holder.
