Making A Purchase

We hope you will find using our online store easy and convenient. Browse the product pages and add any items you would like to buy by clicking the ‘add to basket’ button. You will be automatically returned to the catalogue unless you choose to ‘checkout’ or ‘view basket’. You can edit your shopping basket to remove or change the quantity of items at any time.

You may pay for your order using any major credit or debit card via Opayo. We also accept payments by PayPal (you need to be a registered PayPal account holder to use this method of payment). If you experience problems with an online card authorisation, please call us immediately.

Once you have placed your order you will receive confirmation by email. This will include an order number which we would ask you to quote in any communications with us.

Shipping And Handling

All deliveries to UK customers are sent either by post (smaller items) or by next-day carrier service (larger items). Orders for goods totalling £100.00 or more are shipped free-of-charge. Otherwise a standard delivery charge of £6.00 will be applied to orders of total value £99.99 or less.

Overseas Customers

Please note we do NOT currently ship orders received via our online shop to addresses outside the UK. If you are a potential overseas customer, please contact us by email, telephone or the enquire button on the relevant product listing to receive a shipping quote and further instructions on placing an order with us.

Delivery Schedule

We aim to process your order during the first business day after you place it, so your purchases should be with you within 2-3 business days. If you do not receive your order within an acceptable period, please contact us so we can investigate the delay.

Back Orders

Our website shows the current live stock quantity for every item listed. Products shown in stock are available for immediate dispatch from our Beaconsfield showroom. If the item you require shows zero stock, please contact us directly and we will contact our suppliers to ascertain its availability.

Tax Charges

All product listings on this website display prices in UK sterling with VAT (Value Added Tax) at 20% included.

Credit Card Security

All credit card transactions for purchases made from this website are carried out through reputable payment service providers (Opayo and PayPal), both offering the highest level of online security. Rosehill Instruments does not have access to your credit card details.

Guarantee

We hope you will be delighted with your purchase. All new musical instruments are offered with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty (except for Yamaha whose warranty period is 24 months). If an instrument develops a warranty fault during that period, please contact us immediately to arrange for its return and we will ensure that the instrument is either made good or replaced.

Cookies

Cookies are used on this site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, and to store your details. In each case the cookies are stored on your own computer, not on our server. You can turn off cookies from within your browser by adjusting your privacy settings. However, if you do so, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from other features that use them.

Returns Policy

We aim to ensure that goods are sent to you in perfect condition, and all musical instruments sold by us are subject to an inspection before we dispatch them. However, if you received goods which are either faulty or not those you ordered, or the goods are damaged in transit, please inform us immediately and we will either make an exchange or offer a full refund. We will also reimburse you for the expense of returning the incorrect or faulty goods.

Under Distance Selling Regulations you also have an unconditional right to cancel an order you place with us for a period of fourteen days counting from the day after the goods are delivered to you. If you decide to return an item during this cooling-off period, you must inform us of your intention to do so straight away. We will then arrange an immediate refund. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are returned as soon as possible, unused and in their original packaging. You must also cover the expense of returning them to us.

Remittance Terms

All orders must be paid for before prior to dispatch. Payment is taken during the checkout stage via an online payment service provider, either Opayo (debit/credit cards) or PayPal. If you experience problems with an online card authorisation, please call us immediately. To pay using PayPal you must be a registered PayPal account holder.

Retention of Title

In the following, Seller means Rosehill Instruments Ltd, and Buyer means the person or organization who buys or agrees to buy goods from the Seller.

Notwithstanding delivery and the passing of risk, legal and beneficial title to the goods shall remain with the Seller until payment in full has been received by the Seller for those goods and all other goods supplied by the Seller to the Buyer for which payment is outstanding including any applicable delivery charges.

Until such time as the title in the goods passes to the Buyer:

  1. The Buyer shall hold the goods as the Seller's fiduciary agent and bailee.
  2. The Buyer shall keep the goods separate from those of the Buyer and third parties and properly stored, protected, insured and identified as the Seller's property.

If the Buyer fails to make any payment on the due date then, without prejudice to any other right or remedy available to the Seller, the Seller shall be entitled to:

  1. Cancel the contract or suspend any further deliveries to the Buyer;
  2. Appropriate any payment made by the Buyer to such of the goods (or the goods supplied under any other contract between the Buyer and the Seller) as the Seller may think fit. This clause shall be construed as a separate clause and if any part is held to be unenforceable for any reason, the remaining parts shall continue to apply.
