The Rousseau is a large-bore professional cornet that balances aesthetic elegance with superior tonal warmth. Named after Ray Ogg’s celebrated Salvation Army march, it features a resonant rose brass bell and leadpipe, complementing yellow brass bows and nickel-silver tuning slide legs. This combination ensures a rich, projecting sound capable of filling a concert hall.
With styling that echoes the Geneva Symphony, the Rousseau incorporates a Sovereign-style trigger configuration with enlarged paddles for responsive actuation. Other features include a substantial second slide pull knob and a discreetly-placed lyre box to maintain clean lines, contributing to its blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern utility.
