McQueens parade bugle (silver)

The McQueen’s parade bugle is manufactured by McQueen’s of Manchester, a British specialist with a long-standing association with the manufacture, repair and restoration of brass instruments. Finished in silver-plate, it follows the traditional British military pattern associated with infantry calls, ceremonial occasions and marching displays.

Established in 1985 by master craftsman Rick McQueeney, McQueen’s has built a reputation for high-quality specialist brass instrument workmanship. The company acquired the bugle-manufacturing machinery of the former Barratts of Manchester, continuing an established tradition of British bugle manufacture. Its credentials include the manufacture and supply of bugles to the Royal Marines, as well as a major Ministry of Defence contract to maintain and renovate instruments for British Armed Forces regimental bands.
