The Children’s Tuba Harness, designed by German tubist Rudi Schwarz, is a junior version of the Tuba Harness with Front Plate. Specially proportioned for younger players, it provides the same secure support, ergonomic carrying position and practical features as the full-size model in dimensions better suited to developing musicians.
Manufactured from durable black nylon, the harness features wide, adjustable, well-padded shoulder straps together with a rigid front support plate. The support plate incorporates a central retaining hook with an integral retaining catch, allowing the instrument to be attached and removed quickly whilst helping to prevent accidental disengagement during use. A shoulder-mounted safety lanyard provides additional security, and the harness is fully adjustable for both height and width to accommodate growing players and a variety of instrument sizes.
The harness attaches to a carrying ring fitted to the instrument. If your tuba is not already equipped with one, a compatible D-ring adaptor is available separately.
