The Stomvi Titán range is defined by its traditional ancestry and characterized by instruments with a big, powerful sound.
The Titán soprano cornet presents with a quick response, clean articulation and clear crisp attacks. Most at home in brass bands, it compares favourably with more widely known instruments like the Schilke soprano.
The gold brass bell option offers depth and warmth in medium and quiet dynamics, whilst still achieving a good bright sound at loud dynamics. Well suited to brass bands and orchestral work, it is probably the more versatile option.
Also available:
5837 Bellflex bell
5838 copper bell
* The Amado water key was patented in the US by its inventor Raymond Amado at the beginning of the 1970s. A small transverse-mounted cylinder encloses a spring-loaded push-button piston which when depressed lets moisture drain from the instrument. Its design causes less distortion to the air column than the drain port of a traditional water key.
