A long-established favourite instrument for younger players, the Aulos 211A ‘Robin’ tenor recorder is ideal for classroom, ensemble and solo playing.
Its patented cavity wall design—hollow chambers in the headjoint—allows it to produce a soft, sonorous tone, as well as making it lighter for younger players. Fingering is made easier by closely spaced toneholes and a keyless construction, mirroring that of treble and descant models. It is supplied with adjustable clip-on thumb-rest, fingering chart, cleaning rod and leatherette zip-up case.
Aulos is a brand synonymous with high quality plastic recorders made especially for use in schools. They have been manufactured in Japan by the Toyama Musical Instrument Company since 1955 and are sold worldwide.
