Description
The Stomvi combi-system allows the player to adapt one mouthpiece rim to a range of instruments and performance requirements using a combination of shanks and cups of various depths.
Each kit contains one standard profile rim (e.g. #2) plus five cups of increasing depth (designated A to E) and two standard shanks (small and large).
The inner diameter of each rim is exactly matched to the cups in its equivalent set, so rims and cups from different sets are not interchangeable. Cups are designated by rim size and letter, e.g. 4C.
The small shank is suitable for use with small and medium bore instruments (including alto), the large shank with large bore and bass instruments.
