Description

The traditional Maelzel pyramid metronome was patented by the German inventor Johann Nepomuk Maelzel in 1815, and remains a popular device used by musicians to practise playing to a regular pulse.

Some models are fitted with a bell that can be set to indicate the first beat of each bar.
