Yamaha 300 Series recorders are a step up from the student range, combining the playing characteristics of more expensive wooden instruments with the maintenance-free convenience of a plastic construction.
They are modelled on an eighteenth-century design, and feature an arched ‘windway’ (mouthpiece slit), which contrasts with the straight windway of basic Yamaha models. The 314BIII descant is presented in a simulated ivory/ebony finish.
Supplied with a cotton carrying bag, fingering chart, recorder cream (for easing tight joints on plastic models) and a cleaning rod.
