The Quantz Forza 665RE is an open-hole flute with a solid sterling silver 'Forza' headjoint offering a warm sound rich with overtones. It retains all the features of a standard student/intermediate flute including an offset G and split E mechanism, but the open-hole key mechanism gears it towards the advanced player.
All Pearl student and intermediate flutes have French-pointed keys (with a pointed key arm extending to the centre of the key cup), something usually found only on intermediate and professional instruments. They also benefit from other unique design features which contribute to a smooth and reliable key mechanism.
