Each model BG ligature is designed to provide a different sound.
The standard ligature is made from fabric with a single nickel screw adjuster, and is recommended when a more intimate sound is required, for instance in small venues or chamber music.
The ridged rubber plate that comes into contact with the reed creates a dark sound in comparison with other options.
