The Vincent Bach Artisan professional trombone collection was first introduced in 2013. The A47 straight B-flat is one of the three original standard models in the series.

It features a hand-hammered yellow brass bell with a flat rim, and a reverse main tuning slide with yellow brass crook. The large-bore hand slide has yellow brass outer tubes and bottom crook.
