The HW Pad-Saver® two-piece flute set is made from super-wicking microfibre that will not shed, shrink or bleed. One piece is for the body, the other for the footjoint.
Insert after playing to draw moisture from the pads, tone holes and bore. The sponge on the body swab cleans moisture from the headjoint. May be stored inside or outside the instrument.

Pad-Savers and other similar products are a convenient way to help remove moisture from instruments where it causes corrosion and damages delicate pads. Opinions are divided on whether leaving them inside to trap moisture is preferable to allowing instruments to dry naturally. A sensible compromise may be to use in combination with a swab or pull-though used after each playing.
