La Tromba slide & cork grease (15g)

La Tromba cork & slide grease is a firm grease with the perfect consistency for slides to operate properly. It repels moisture, thereby preventing corrosion and jamming, and is very temperature-stable and age-resistant.

It may also be used for the care of tenon joints on woodwind instruments, protecting the corks from moisture, easing assembly and maintaining a good seal.

Tuning slide grease allows slides to move freely but is thick enough to hold them in position, maintaining an air-tight seal and detering corrosion. Use on all static valve slides apart from mobile slides and those fitted with a trigger mechanism. Check slides and corks weekly and apply sparingly as required.
