Yamaha Vintage is a thicker oil intended for older instruments with well-worn valves, and also for instruments with larger pistons such as euphoniums and bass tubas.

Valve oil is essential for keeping all valved brass instruments in good playing condition. If you play regularly, we recommend every week removing each valve in turn, wiping it clean with a lint-free cloth, and applying a small amount (two or three drops) of valve oil before carefully refitting.
