Stomvi trumpet mouthpiece combi-system

The Stomvi combi-system allows the player to adapt one mouthpiece rim to a range of instruments and performance requirements using a combination of bodies and cups of various depths.

Each kit contains one standard profile rim (e.g. #1) plus seven cups of decreasing depth (designated FL for flugelhorn, and A to F) and two standard bodies (one for trumpet, one for cornet or piccolo trumpet).

The inner diameter of each rim is exactly matched to the cups in its equivalent set, so rims and cups from different sets are not interchangeable. Cups are designated by rim size and letter, e.g. 1C.

The larger body is suitable for use with B-flat, C and E-flat/D trumpets, the smaller with cornets and piccolo trumpets. (A flugelhorn body is produced separately by the manufacturer.) The throat and backbore of the supplied bodies are made to standard measurements.
