Who's Who?
Introducing the Rosehill staff:
Paul Austin Paul Austin (managing director): Son of the company's founder, Paul has worked in the family business since leaving college. He has many areas of expertise, and welcomes enquiries from all potential customers: individuals, bands or educational institutions.
Trevor Austin Trevor Austin (chairman and founder): An ex-musician with the Royal Horse Guards, Trevor laid the foundations of the business in 1967 and became a familiar figure in the music industry. Now enjoying his well-earned leisure, he still helps out in the shop for two days each week.
Richard Fox Richard Fox: Joined us in 2005 after thirty-three years’ service in HM’s armed forces, finally as technical quartermaster sergeant at the Royal Military School of Music. Richard is now our military liaison advisor and first point of contact for our many customers in the armed services.
Dave Daniels Dave Daniels: Another ex-military musician, this time with the Band of the Blues and Royals, Dave is our part-time woodwind specialist. He has also considerable experience as an educationalist, having previously taught music in schools for twenty-five years.
Tim Humphries Tim Humphries: Came to Rosehill via Percy Prior’s in High Wycombe and now runs our goods-in and warehouse areas. He is also responsible for shipping, and often jumps in a van to deliver larger consignments personally to our customers around the country.
Phil Maund Phil Maund: Became a full-time staff member in 2000 after ten years with Rosehill's music publishing business. Phil is the company's network administrator, and fulfils various marketing and presentational roles including the design and maintenance of our website.
Our instrument technicians:
Peter Stavely Peter Stavely: A vastly experienced brass technician who joined Boosey & Hawkes as an apprentice on leaving school and worked there as a repairer, maker and supervisor for over thirty years. Peter has been working part-time with us since 1994.
Mark Steventon Mark Steventon: As well as being our chief woodwind technician, Mark is a musician with the REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) corps band and joins us regularly when his other commitments allow.
Our administrative staff:
Sandra Radford Sandra Radford: Sandra arrived at Rosehill in 2002 and is the newest member of the administrative team. She is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company's accounts department.
Geraldine Calabrese Geraldine Calabrese: Our longest continuous serving team member, Geraldine joined in 1989. She is responsible for sales and purchase ledgers, and fields customer and supplier account queries.
Michael James Michael James: Michael has been with us at Rosehill since 1996, and since his retirement in 2002 continues to provide us with his accounts experience on a part-time basis.
