Servicing

We offer all levels of service, from routine check-ups to a complete back-to-new replacement of renewable parts. We recommend you have your instrument serviced annually. The cost of a routine service is based on a fixed rate depending on the type of instrument, with additional work charged at an hourly rate. Please call the above number for a quotation.

We will be pleased to undertake any repair to your instrument, from removing minor dents or replacing pads to skilled tasks like releasing joints and tuning slides. It may be possible to complete some minor repairs ‘on the spot’, whilst for most you will need to leave the instrument with us for a few days.

If you are caught with a damaged instrument and an important rehearsal or performance to attend, we will advise and assist you in getting back on the road as soon as possible. Please note a full visual inspection by one of our technicians will be needed to assess the full extent of the problem.

Some older instruments may be beyond economic repair, but for those that would benefit from some TLC we offer a complete refurbishment service. Note that parts may not be available for earlier models, so your instrument will need to beassessed before we undertake any work of this kind.
